Director of Marketing

Primary Role Responsibilities:

* Develop and maintain strategy that positions velofix as a disruptor and industry leader

• Responsible for managing marketing initiatives through all aspects of the branding process

• Work directly with CEO to help build and execute the budget and brands marketing plan

* Build a Marketing Team to support company growth plans

• Work with Leadership Team on all digital strategy and execution of all social & digital marketing


• Help drive strategy in the digital landscape including Content, Influencer, Social, Segmentation,

Retention and Loyalty

* Manage PR Agency and drive Media activation

* Understanding of Direct To Consumer marketing

• Have a deep understanding of, and passion for, marketing outdoor lifestyle and ensuring that all

messaging is on brand and driving market trends

• Drive creative content creation and campaigns based on consumer and market insights

• Create and execute digital go-to-market plans to tie all digital marketing efforts together, including

social, e-commerce and retail

• Help drive incremental sales of the eCommerce business through digital and social campaigns

• Conduct market research through social media and influencers

• Experience working with Salesforce

• Lead all social media initiatives including building a social content calendar and strategy for

increase in engagement and customer bookings

• Manage all social, consumer and media assets and create excitement around the velofix brand by

appropriate use of imagery, voice and messaging

• Build strategy and execution of Ambassador marketing program

• Serve as the main liaison between velofix and our key Suppliers

• Track ROI across social, digital and e-commerce initiatives; identify wins and areas for growth

• Develop action plans and calendars for events, from concept to execution

• Work with the Procurement Team to ensure marketing campaigns align with key product initiatives

• Manage Website, Newsletters and customer communication

Requirements for Role

• Qualified candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar Marketing role.

• Experience with digital marketing and social media programs

• Must understand brand building and be able to execute across channels

• Ability to work with partners and to efficiently own content management

• Experience with Salesforce

• Proficiency in Google Analytics and Social Tracking Tools

• Ability to execute plans with a speed of a start up culture

• Experience managing calendars, scheduling projects, and producing photo/video content

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred.
