Albany

velofix Albany

The Capital District is an area rich with history and home to multiple Revolutionary War battle sites, state parks, recreational trails, and miles upon miles of scenic riding. Albany constitutes the economic and cultural core of the Capital District of New York State, our territory comprises the Albany-Schenectady-Troy, NY Metropolitan Statistical Area, including the nearby cities and suburbs of Troy, Schenectady, Saratoga Springs, Ballston Spa, Mechanicsville, Glens Falls, and Queensbury. We are surrounded by some of the most beautiful riding that the northeast has to offer; the Hudson Valley to the South, the Berkshires of Massachusetts to the East, and the Adirondack Park to the North.

Whether you are a recreational rider, a weekend warrior, an avid enthusiast, or a competitive racer, the opportunities in the area to enjoy cycling are plentiful. With the amount of hassle and time involved in getting your bike serviced the traditional way, velofix Albany is happy to offer a unique approach to a timeless issue; WE COME TO YOU! Whether you work downtown, live in the city, or brave the traffic commuting, velofix Albany is there to help!  If you’re a business owner looking for ways to reward your employees and encourage healthy habits, we can support dedicated company bike tune days at your convenience. If you are a club looking to get your squad tuned to perfection, you have come to the right place!  We also offer event support for many of the great rides and races throughout the area.

We’ll meet you at your home, office, or just about anywhere in between, and can complete most work on your bike in less time than it takes to drop off and pick up your bike the traditional way. velofix Albany is excited to simplify the whole process for you and help you save time and ride more!

Through a simple scheduling process customers can book their service online, or over the phone. Our fully equipped custom Mobile Bike Shop will come to you at your appointment time and complete the bicycle service while you wait. You will have the opportunity to communicate directly with the certified bike mechanic before your appointment to ensure your tune, repair, and upgrade needs are fully satisfied. Customers are free to be as involved in their appointment as they desire – you can chat with the mechanic, grab a cup of coffee, or use your time to get other stuff done while the mechanic works in your driveway. We will let you know when the work is complete.

Getting out on the road or trails with a bike in top-notch condition has never been easier. And there’s never been a better time than now!

Don’t let the snow keep you from calling! Our snowsports tuning services will get you ready to take on the slopes and the trails. Downhill, cross-country, park, and backcountry alike, we have tuned them all. Our technicians have spent years preparing NYSEF athletes for overseas trips, sharpening youth, collegiate, and master’s racers’ perfect edges, or helping nordic and jumping athletes dial in their perfect wax needs, our technicians can have your quiver prepared for whatever race day conditions could throw at you!
