velofix North Vancouver Island
The velofix North Vancouver Island territory includes some of the finest road, trail and mountain biking in the province of British Columbia. From the loop around Shawnigan Lake, to the community supported trails of the Comox Valley, the area has all of your cycling needs covered.
The region includes over 75 km’s of the Trans Canada Trail, where cyclists can travel across eight historic rail trestles, including the Kinsol Trestle, in the section between Shawnigan Lake and Lake Cowichan. The trail then follows the Cowichan River to Duncan.
The mountain biking trails in the area are world class as well, and include trails used in the reknowned BC Bike Race. There is everything from mellow XC trails, to full on downhill trails where some of Canada’s fastest racers practise in the off season.
For those who prefer road cycling, the region offers quiet meandering country roads that take one by pastoral farmlands and vineyards…a new view around every corner. Rolling, pastoral landscapes with mountainous backdrops to the west are what you’ll encounter every day on your bike.
velofix North Vancouver Island can look after all of your cycling service and repairs, regardless of what bike you are riding.
