Meet your velofix Northern Virginia Team
velofix Northern Virginia is family owned and operated, and we love to promote the sport to individuals and families in the area. Owners Chris & Nastaran Myers, who reside in Haymarket, VA with their son and 2 daughters; and Munjeet Singh & Nilofer Saidi, who reside in Reston, VA with their son. They are a group of avid cyclists, with varying degrees of craziness on the bike!
Chris Myers is a USMC Veteran, and loves to spend time on Virginia singletrack on a MTB, but will also ride anything with pedals. Chris has a BS in Electrical Engineering, and is our resident E-bike expert. He is also a Shimano Certified Technician for the entire Shimano product line. He is an active part of the community, serving as a Trail Liaison for MORE, on the Board of Directors for Reston Bike Club, and participating in bike events in the area all year long.
Jon Chamot is one of our velofix NOVA certified technicians, and has an extensive background working on bikes of all types. His diverse experience has given him the tools to fix just about anything that you can throw at him.
Munjeet grew up in Colorado, so you can imagine that he has a love for riding MTBs on difficult trails, with Yeti Cycles being his personal favorite. He has extensive experience in the industry, as well as in government contracting and IT support.
Nilofer has a diverse business background in technology and in designing customer experiences tied to success. She enjoys riding the bike paths and gravel trails along the W&OD trail, and the local business stops that go along with it.
Nastaran comes from a background as a Health Care Consultant, and can usually be found riding with her kids on the local bike paths. She is an experienced event planner and coordinator who loves to spend time outdoors.
The team is eager to engage the amazing Northern Virginia cycling community!
