The Pannell’s have been cycling enthusiasts from their earliest memories. John, the patriarch, is enjoying his second retirement touring the world on two-wheels. Wade grew up working in local bike shops across Montana and Idaho and began racing in his early teens and road the wave of excitement in the first mountain bike boom in the mid-eighties. After a 15-year career in resort real estate development, Wade needed to lose a few pounds and recapture the fitness of his youth. He turned to running and quickly fell in love with endurance sports a second time. After completing the Boston Marathon in 2010 he went on to complete his first Ironman in CDA in 2011. Passionate about helping others achieve their fitness goals, Wade and Julie Pannell opened their Fleet Feet Sports franchises in 2012 and 2014. He is looking forward to bringing world class customer service and a passion to help everyone find their inner athlete to the cycling community of Spokane.
