Bike Shop Questions

Do you repair flat tires?

YES! We do repair flat tires and change inner tubes but velofix has a minimum service charge of between $79-160 depending on your zip/postal code.

If you want to proceed with a booking choose the Bronze level/Basic level tune at and add any specific details like tire sizes in the “Tell us about your bike” form.

What type of Bikes do you service?

velofix is a full service bike shop, equipped with all the tools and technical expertise to service every kind of bike including: Road, Tri, Mountain, Hybrid/Commuter, Tandem, Trikes, Kids bikes etc.

Do you service electric bikes?

Yes we are equipped to service all brands of Electric bikes! Our technicians can perform any mechanical or bicycle-related work on electric bikes, but they cannot diagnose electrical problems or install motor kit conversions.

Where do you do my Bike Service?

All the service is performed  on site at your home, office or wherever you schedule your service and all tunes and service take place inside our Mobile Bike Shop. velofix Bike Shops are fully equipped with all the tools, parts, drivetrain washing tanks, and electricity needed to look after all your bike needs.

How do I book my Bike Service?

Booking your service online is the easiest way to gain access to all velofix services. Click Book Now, enter your postal/zip code, select a service, pick a time and you’re done!

How long does a Service take?

Service time is based on the Package you choose, but most services will take approximately 60-120 minutes. You are invited to stay and watch, chat with your mechanic, and enjoy a coffee while we service your bike. Please keep in mind, we also recommend during the COVID period our no contact service. Does velofix sell bikes?

velofix is currently working with multiple manufacturers and distributors through our velofix DIRECT program. The program is simple: order online, ship to your local velofix operator and have us build, deliver, and do a basic fit adjustment as part of your online purchase. We will also be available to do any follow-up work or tuning and will have a record of the build on file.

Is my Bike insured while you are working on it?

Yes, velofix has full insurance coverage for your Bike while in our possession.

Do you do Bike fittings?

To check if we have a bike fit service in your area, please email Not every service location has the ability or training to facilitate a professional fit.

You state you have a 100% Guarantee for Service work done?

Yes, if you are not completely satisfied with the service, we make sure by the time we are done, that you are. Our goal is to build loyalty and long term relationships with our customers through our quality of service, and the integrity and transparency in which we do it. In saying this, we do not provide a guarantee for any bike that was serviced more than fifteen (15) days prior to the date of follow up request.

Do you test ride my Bike after the Service?

Yes, ALL Bikes will be tested by our certified expert mechanics before your service is deemed complete. We also encourage customers to test ride their own bikes to make sure they’re 100% happy before we leave.

Does velofix do ski tuning and waxing as well?

Yes in select areas our Mobile Shops are able to do both ski and cycling based services. Enter your postal/zip code into “Book a Service” and if your local velofix Bike Shop delivers this service, the Ski Tuning service will appear.

Your Service Packages only include Labor, how much will parts cost?

The cost of parts are determined by what is required for your Bike. Our certified mechanics will walk you through any parts needed BEFORE the service so you are educated and informed on what is needed. We stock an array of parts in order to make sure you leave the service ready and raring to go.
